Toni On April 19, 2008 Seeds sown
Just for fun I started the Hass avocado seed in a cup of water as my family taught me to do so many years ago and low and behold it grew and grew until I got tired of it and was going to put it in the compost pile. My husband had grown very attached to the little start and encouraged me to put it in a pot. Well, here we are almost 7 years later and he still won’t let me compost it.
