History: Developed and released by Tom Wagner of Tater Mater Seed in WA state. Introduced in 1983 in Tater Mater Seeds Catalog as 'T-1.'. He later named this tomato Schimmeig Stoo, meaning "Striped Cavern" in Manx, in honor of his grandfather.
