I've admired this plant in a neighbor's yard, but she couldn't recall the name. In the NRSR Seed Swap last Nov. I got seeds labeled 'Joseph's Coat Little Ruby' from rattlebox. I only chose them because of the name Joseph's Coat and had no other info. I hadn't sown them yet for lack of room, but last week I sowed them with a dozen or so other varieties, hoping they were still viable seeds. I also looked up the name in the database here and was overjoyed to see they are the deep burgundy plant my neighbor has thriving in full sun by her mailbox. In only 6 days now, about 5 sprouts have come up, so I should have a good start of this pretty plant for Spring 2019.
