Extra-furry Echeveria with leaves that look almost white in strong light (thus the name). This white-haired clone was collected by Alfred Lau at San Miguel Maninaltepic in Oaxaca and distributed in 1933 as ISI-1390. This cultivar is one example of Echeveria (Echeveria pulvinata var. frigida) , a variety that was named subsequently, somewhat in its honor. Like the rest of the species, it is hirsute everywhere (above ground) except the inside of the flowers, which are red. This is a different plant from the Echeveria leucotricha selection also called "Frosty" (Dick Wright).
