Emerald Fire is a large plant reaching 20-24 inches in height. More rangy than most of the Jalapeno varieties that I have grown. Using JB as a control, Emerald Fire is twice as tall, production equivalent. Emerald Fire takes up a lot more space and because it is tall and slender needs some support. Fruits are average to large and blunt bullet shaped. Heat level is higher than average. A satisfactory performer but definitely not the ultimate.
