The black-seeded variety of 'Marvel of Venice' takes 78 days to mature, but is said to have higher yield and better flavor than the white-seeded variety (54 DTM).

Both have yellow pods and are pole beans (7 foot vines, or longer).

The white-seeded variety has Romano-shaped pods 8" to 9" long and 3/4" wide.

Sow in warm soil - at LEAST 60 F soil temperature, though over 75 F gives faster germination.
