chelle On June 8, 2015 Bloomed
*Plants started early in seller's GH.*
Vines 18" long at planting time - 5 weeks later vines at 9' in length and many buds are present. First bud opened this morning. Potted (and root-bound) plant double-planted in a larger container of homemade compost is far-surpassing its in-ground counterpart.

Planted into an 8 gallon pot and placed in the SE corner of our apartment balcony. Ran string up from the railing to the overhang for vertical spread and hoping it will also run along the railing horizontally.

I am in Pittsburgh area. Planted this in late May. The plant grew like crazy, but only started to bloom in September. I'm afraid the buds are going to get a frost before most of them even bloom.
