Fast growing and prolific in cultivation. Leaves are fat and glaucous purple to bright pink, depending on the exposure (pinker in more sun). They detach easily from stems and can be reliably used for propagation. Rosettes reach about 5 inches wide and stems may grow to about 10 inches or more (decumbent), with branches at the base and above, clustering fairly rapidly. Flowers are peach to pink, somewhat spreading, with fleshy sepals, and open downward in a double cincinnus.
