These are the easiest white scallops I've ever grown. The extra thickness makes for more bulk when cooked per fruit. I got seeds in a swap Jan. 2017 here from Thomas, who was very generous with the seeds. I grew them last year with a bumper crop. I still had seeds enough to plant some more this spring 2018. They are producing now and we are enjoying them almost daily.

Coronation is a very prolific yellow patty pan type. It does tend to have longer vines than competitors like Yellow Bush Scallop or Sunburst. At end of season about 3 feet long. Very vigorous and keeps popping out fruit at the end of the vine, giving an extra long continuous harvest. Shows little effect from common squash diseases and seems more tolerant of SVB than other C. pepo. Yields slightly more than its similar white sister Daize.
