Summer Olympics is one of my earliest spring blooming iris. It usually re-blooms late & with a couple buds at the border of 6b/7a. I had it planted in full sun & the results were as follows: 2012, it tried to bloom in December & froze. I was able to cut the stalk & bring it in the week before Thanksgiving 2013. I moved it to where it gets brief mid-day shade in September & October. That little bit of shade seems to have moved up it's re-bloom time, so 2015 there are 7 stalks ready to open November 1st. It also had a summer re-bloom that I missed. It grows like a weed, so it needs to be divided at least every other year.
