Grown in 2018. Like a typical habanero plant, it took awhile to get established and didn't take off growing until mid-summer. Didn't start getting ripe fruit until the end of August. Fruit was a light green, turning orange, then red. Ended up by the end of the season (mid-October) with over 60 peppers (green and ripe) per plant.
The fruit was very floral scented when cut open, there was some heat up in the membranes and seeds but the flesh itself was pretty mild. Definitely nowhere close to a regular habanero's heat.

If you like the flavor of habaneros, but not the heat, now there's a new, milder version of this tangy pepper.
'Zavory' registers only 100 Scoville units on the heat scale (compared with 300,000 for other habanero varieties) making it so mild you can eat it raw off the plant like a sweet tomato. The cardinal-red fruits are produced 90 days after transplanting and grow on 30-inch-tall plants.
