Caterpillars of the American Lady Butterfly use Pearly Everlasting as a host plant. The cats live individually in nests made of leaves and silk. This plant is also a source of nectar for various other butterflies.

For best results (if planting more than one of these plants), space each of them at least 1 foot apart.
    Landscape uses:
The foliage of pearly everlasting remains attractive throughout the growing season. Locate plants toward the front of a perennial border, group them in an all white border or grow them in a rock garden. The flowers can be gathered and dried for winter bouquets.
