White daisy-like flowers with bright yellow centers from late summer into fall.
For best results (if planting more than one of these plants), space each plant at least 3 feet apart from each other.
    Landscape uses:
Use white boltonia in a naturalistic meadow garden or at the back of a border. Pick for fall bouquets.

This is a great plant for adding color to the fall garden. Related to Asters, Boltonias are covered with 3/4 inch aster-like flowers so thickly you can hardly see into the plant. 'Snowbank' may be the most widely grown kind. It is an improved form of the normally white flowering species, having more and larger flowers. 'Snowbank' has blue-green foliage, oblong 5 inch leaves, and strong erect stems growing to 4 feet that seldom need staking. It likes average to moist soil.
