    This is a newer cultivar. It seems to be slightly brighter yellow than the old cultivar of 'Flaviramea.' Its advantage is that it is supposed to be more resistant to leaf spot disease and stem canker disease that can strike the older cultivar. The regular redtwig species and cultivars can also be struck by these diseases some years.
