    When sowing indoors, sow seeds of this clover just beneath the surface of the soil. Transplant outdoors no later than about the first of August to ensure adequate root development. Very drought tolerant once established.

    Blooms for a long time and produces both pollen and nectar. It is very popular with bees. It's wonderful to watch them gathering the bright golden pollen.

Noticed leaves on the second Purple Prairie Clover I put in the ground last year. I thought they were both lost, but new leaves have emerged on the second plant. The first had leaves earlier this month.
