Peony 'Viking Chief' (Krekler-Roy Klehm, 1978) is a dark pink, semidouble, lactiflora cultivar: medium height @36", fuchsia pink flowers, deep pink flecks, gold circle of stamens, and pink center petals. Registered by Roy Klehm. Bred by William H. Krekler (1900-2002) from Somerville, OH who has 416 peony cultivars registered with the APS.
