If you love blue flowers in your garden, then plant Scilla siberica 'Spring Beauty.' It has gorgeous deep blue flowers. This would be my pick of the siberica species. 'Spring Beauty' has larger flowers, is a deeper blue color, and blooms longer. It blooms dependably every year and will naturalize in the garden. It has short flowers that bloom in the spring. Easy to grow in well draining soil. Deer resistant. Cold hardy to zone 2. Also known as Siberian Squill. Heirloom. Charming and delightful. A sea of blue in masses. Sun to part shade.
