Coastal Dudleya from central and northern California, just into Oregon. Leaves may be pale green or usually a powder-dusted pale blue. Rosettes may branch extensively. Flowers are cup-shaped and pale yellow, appearing in late spring and summer (later than coastal Dudleya species found to its south), and attracting hummingbirds.

Known to form natural hybrids with D. pulverulenta. Exists in a complex with D. caespitosa and a few other species. May be distinguished from the very similar D. caespitosa based on its flowers, which are a paler yellow, and its origin, which is generally to the north. Threatened by collectors who have been transporting plants for sale on the Asian market.

    Released as ISI 21 (1962), ISI 961 (1976), and ISI 97-66 (1997).
