This OP flour corn was bred by Dave Christensen and is continually developed every year. Tests showed the kernels of Montana Morado contain 34 times more anthocyanins (antioxidants) than blue corn.

dave On March 14, 2024 Plant Ended (Removed, Died, Discarded, etc)
Well, that was fun. The plants got to about 3 feet tall in the grow tent. Grew quite well in hydroponics, actually, but I can't keep them forever like this. I'm going to toss them out.
dave On February 20, 2024 Potted up
These are about 12" tall and pretty rootbound in their little cells. I filled a 5 gallon bucket with hydroponic solution and planted the corn into 3 netpots. Will be interesting to see how they handle the hydroponics.
dave On February 11, 2024 Seeds germinated
dave On February 7, 2024 Seeds sown
Sowed 4 cells one seed per cell.
