Thyme-leaved speedwell is weedy, but it makes a good thick groundcover and can be walked on. We have it growing in a path.

Thyme-leaved speedwell seeds are known to persist in cultivated soil for at least 5 years. Seed from sites of house demolitions as much as 30 years old has been known to germinate.
