    This species is native to the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico coasts from North Carolina down into the Yucatan and also found in Bermuda. Its leaves are bright green and sort of stiff with tiny serrations along the leaves, and the leaves get to about 2 feet long and the tips are sharp. It grows about 5 to 15 feet high.
