    The easiest method of propagation of this plant is by division of the tubers, which are about the size of an unhulled peanut.

    In my climate, it can be quite invasive, so you may want to grow it in a pot until you see how quickly it can spread. Any portion of the tuber left in the ground will grow new plants.

    For best results (if planting more than one of these plants), space each one of them at least a foot apart.
    Landscape uses:
    Use Peruvian lilies at the middle or the back of a wide border or as the centerpiece in an island bed. They make excellent cut flowers.
