This bush variety has the closest to pole bean flavor of any that I have tried. Long semi-flat pods retain quality to bean stage. The pods do tend to pull the plant over but never posed a problem. Developed by Novartis (Syngenta) it is supposedly a cross between Romano and Kentucky Wonder. Popular in the 90's, it disappeared for a few years, but has resurfaced in the present. Normal harvest is at 7 inches but will grow to 10 inches without getting shucky.
