Operation RubyThroat
Operation RubyThroat: The Hummingbird Project is devoted to the study of and education about Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds in the North and Central Americas. Though the project targets K through 12 teachers and students, the Web site has accurate, clear, scientifically based information on a wide range of topics -- from basic feeding to migration and weather patterns to how to participate in banding. The Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural History in York, South Carolina, runs the project.
