Wildflowers Are Blooming
Well, they'll be blooming soon. For the best time to view the wildflowers, call the Wildflower Hotline at (818) 768-3533. Starting March 1, you can find out what's blooming where throughout Southern California. The Theodore Payne Foundation has been providing this wonderful service for 19 years. The weekly updates enable you to choose where to go according to flower type (such as tidy-tips or poppies) or when a specific area will be the most glorious.
