Favorite or New Plant

Rocket Larkspur
One of my favorite plants that has been passed along from Grandma's garden is the rocket larkspur (Consolida spp.). It is always dependable as it self sows from one year to the next, and seedlings are easy to transplant. It does equally well in full sun and part shade. The soil should be well drained, fertile, and amended with compost for best performance and seed germination. Consolida ajacis has feathery foliage and attractive flower spikes.
