Container Gardening Web Sites
The Container Gardening Web site from the Alabama Extension Service and the Minigardening site from Florida Extension Service offer great practical advice on growing vegetable gardens (and some flowers) in containers.

Clever Gardening Technique

Wheelbarrow Garden
For a unique container vegetable garden, use an old wheelbarrow. Make sure and drill a few drainage holes in the bottom. Fill it with potting soil and plant either cool-season (broccoli, lettuce, arugula, kale, etc.) or warm-season (patio tomatoes, peppers, bush squash, etc.) vegetables. You can easily roll it into the garage on a freezing night or into a brighter sunny location as needed. Think of it as a garden to go!
