Monarch Watch
Keep track of monarch butterflies on their winter and spring migrations at Monarch Watch. The latest feature is the official Monarch Watch BLOG where you can find frequent updates of what's going on at Monarch Watch and with monarchs in general. Check the shop for new products such as Monarch Waystation Seed Kits and Monarch Tagging Kits. Visit the Monarch Watch Community Forums; there's a "suggestions and comments" forum already set up and ready for your input.

Razzle Dazzle Crape Myrtles
Who said we can't grow crape myrtles in USDA Zones 6B and 7? The mounded, compact Razzle Dazzle series is doing quite well in Philadelphia and nearby suburban gardens. In my gardens, Raspberry Dazzle and Cherry Dazzle are still in colorful bloom against shiny, deep green leaves. One caveat: These are slow to green up in spring. Don't pull them out if they look dead in April or May. Leaves will unfurl as summer heats up.
