New Mexico State University Horticulture Publications
New Mexico State University's College of Agriculture and Home Economics Web site (www.cahe.nmsu.edu/pubs/_h/) provides dozens of publications on gardening issues specific to New Mexico, including numerous references to that favorite of New Mexico gardeners - the chile! Also covered are apples, pecans, gardening basics, and more. Publications are available in either html or PDF format.

School Gardens Workshop
Is your school interested in having a garden program? Here's a workshop that may help you get started. Its title is "Seed Money: Funding and Sustaining the Garden." Topics include building partnerships, finding grants and funding sources, developing local support, and using public relations to expand the garden's profile in the community. The workshop will be held January 27, 2001, 8 to 11 a.m. at the Maricopa County Cooperative Extension office, 4341 E. Broadway, Phoenix, Arizona. Registration is $10.
