Bamboo Festival
The Southeastern Chapter of the American Bamboo Society will host its annual festival on July 11-12 at the North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville, Saturday 9 am to 4 pm, and Sunday 11 am to 2:30 pm. Lectures, demonstrations, and crafts will offer opportunities to learn about the artistic value and functionality of this unique grass. To celebrate Pollinator Week, June 22-28, learn about pollinators and what you can do to protect them by visiting the Web site of Pollinator Partnership, a resource about pollination and biodiversity.
