Clever Gardening Technique

Harvest Outer Leaves Only
Remove only the outer leaves when harvesting leafy vegetables such as lettuce, spinach and tatsoi. Allow center leaves to continue growing. You can continue harvesting this way until warm temperatures cause the plant to bolt and go to seed.
