Know How to Hire a Tree Care Expert
Don't let just anyone loose on your valuable trees. Make sure they have the proper training. (Hint: If they recommend topping your tree, escort them off your property ASAP!) University of Arizona Cooperative Extension's free publication How to Hire a Tree Expert (AZ1003) guides you through the process and explains the components of an appropriate contract. Download it at http://ag.arizona.edu/pubs/garden/az1003.pdf.
