Screening of 'The Olmstead Legacy' Documentary
On Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 6 PM in the Van Pelt Auditorium of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, there will be a screening of 'The Olmsted Legacy'. This one-hour documentary examines the formation of America's first great city parks in the late 19th century through the eyes of Frederick Law Olmsted, who brought expansive green spaces to many U.S. cities, including Philadelphia and NYC. VIP Reception with film producer Rebecca Messner to follow at Stephen Starr's Granite Hill Restaurant. $15 for Screening / $100 for Screening with VIP Reception. Reservations required.
