The Botany of Desire with Michael Pollan (DVD)
Based on Michael Pollan's best-selling book, , this PBS-produced DVD offers a fascinating "plant's-eye view of the world", inviting us into the mysteries and histories of the apple, the tulip, the potato, and Cannabis sativa. I find myself watching individual chapters again and again, learning something new each time. The DVD includes deleted scenes, an interview with Pollan, and a panel discussion. Treat yourself ... and have cider nearby. Your mouth will be watering.
