Favorite or New Plant

'Little Prince' Banana
For many in our regions, banana plants are a staple of the backyard, but not suited for container culture. Hands down (pun intended since "hand" is the name for a natural bunch of bananas), 'Little Prince' will win over the few that consider bananas too messy, unreliable, or common for their gardens. Two to four feet tall and capable of making little bananas, this one grows for life in a big pot and is hardy enough to recommend to your friends far away in Zone 7.
