Home Irrigation Systems
Conserving water in the garden is easier to accomplish if you have a home irrigation system. Operating and Maintaining a Home Irrigation System from Colorado State University Extension will help you understand how to install, use, and maintain your system, which will help save both time and money.

Favorite or New Plant

Spotted Dead Nettle
Despite its unattractive name, spotted dead nettle is a pretty ground cover for shady areas. Botanically known as Lamium maculatum, this perennial performs admirably in shade or morning sun. It sports spikes of either pink or white hooded flowers above the variegated foliage. 'White Nancy' is my favorite, with handsome silvery leaves with narrow margins of green. The flowers are bright white and held 8-10 inches above the foliage.
