Roof Rat Control
Humans like fresh citrus fruit and unfortunately, so do roof rats, whose populations can jump dramatically if unchecked. University of Arizona Cooperative Extension provides everything you need to know about roof rat habits, identification, and control at Roof Rats.

Clever Gardening Technique

Collect Plastic Fruit Baskets
Save containers used for berries, cherry tomatoes, and others fruits and veggies. They make good cages for your new fall seedlings to protect them from birds and other creatures. Usually critters prefer the young, tiny, succulent sprouts. After seedlings have reached an inch or two and are poking through the cage, it should be safe to remove it.
