UC Riverside Plant Sale
Saturday, October 22, 12 noon to 4 pm; and Sunday, October 23, 9 am to 3 pm. Nearly 10,000 plants in more than 500 varieties will be available -- trees, shrubs, vines, herbaceous plants, shade plants, water plants, house and patio plants, cacti and succulents, and also wildflower seeds. Plants are labeled if they attract hummingbirds or butterflies, are drought-tolerant or California native, are fragrant, or make good cut flowers or foliage. Knife as Planting or Harvesting Tool
An old paring or putty knife can be used to cut transplants out of a flat or to aid harvesting.
