'Pocomoke' Dwarf Crape Myrtle
Lagerstroemia (indica x fauriei) 'Pocomoke' stands about two feet tall and wide. In autumn, its dense mounds of deep rosy-raspberry flowers sit above forest green leaves. One of several compact hybrids introduced by the U.S. National Arboretum, 'Pokomoke' is among those top hardy to USDA Zone 7 and root hardy (with winter protection) to USDA Zone 6.
