Thread OP

Hello,

I found these worms in my indoor plants a month ago. I tried pasteurizing and than replanting my plants, but they came back. I dont see any adult bugs around and I am new to gardening. Can anyone identify what they are?

Welcome!

I can't really see them clearly or get an idea of size but they remind me of soldier fly larvae. Are you using compost in the pots?

Yes, I am using compost in my soil. But I never see any larvae until a few weeks after I repot my plants. They do look similar to black solder fly larvae. Do you have any advice to use compost in my soil properly?
