Please post pics of your yellow peonies from your garden from years past. Would love to see all the yellow ones out there from species, herbaceous, itoh, to tree peonies!

Here's my earliest one, Nova.

oh - and forgot this one. It's a Solaris variety but am forgetting the name. Would have to check inventory. Great color (even though flowers are held slightly downward).

Thanks everyone for posting your gorgeous yellow peonies! What a great show!

Wow Nick! I agree that those are the most double blooms of Bartzella that I have ever seen. I would love for mine to bloom like yours!

I have been eyeing Sunny Girl for awhile but have been hesitant in getting it because the color seems a bit light to me. All your pics of it show such a warm glow and lovely color from the flowers that you all have convinced me to add it on my wanted list.

LG, I love your pics of Joanna Marlene! Love those pink outer petals! Can't imagine what a full bush of those blooms look like. Must be stunning!

Age of Gold and Alhambra have such great color and form!

I can't get over how deep yellow is Sonoma Yedo! Can't wait to see a pic of a full bush covered with these huge blooms.

Please show your whole collection of yellows! Would love to see more pics whether they are last year or more than 5 years ago. I am sure you have more yellows in your collection.

Karen, Sunny Girl is more yellow in person, than on my photo, I am not a photographer - picture-taker, so cannot catch a real color of blooms.
There are more yellows from my garden, some are very light yellow.

I know you guys HAVE to be as tired of hearing me whine about the HSfH last May as I am of thinking about it! Just a couple more posts, here and the 2018 highlights, and I'll try to never speak of it again! Didn't have a ton of yellow blooms because I lost the greatest majority of my blooms to that darned hail storm, here's a few that looked pretty good:

Sequestered Sunshine--I've had this one for several years, first time to bloom.
Thumb of 2019-01-12/LizinElizabeth/6adf5e
Shining Light--same as Sequestered Sunshine, had it for years but never bloomed.
Thumb of 2019-01-12/LizinElizabeth/2ec6b7
and Yumi. Believe it or not this plant was pretty much decimated but it came back and actually bloomed. What's not to love about a plant like that?

Wonderful yellows, Liz! I live the color of Shining Light. And Yumi is a Phoenix bird! Hurray! The best you can wish!

Liz, I am glad you can post some of your yellow peonies! I wasn't sure if any survived the HSfH! Yumi looked splendid considering what happened prior. Its foliage showed almost no damage. I would love to revive this thread next year so that we can all showcase more yellow peonies bloomed this coming spring.

What a spectacular show of yellows. The yellow peonies, of all types, have to be some of my very, very favorites. They make you smile just looking at them!
