Alpine: Encore Native Plant Sale 9 - 11
We had our largest ever plant sale this weekend and and find ourselves with
about 200 plants unsold.
So – we are having an encore sale next Saturday from 9 to 11 – two hours only.
We have 6 different varieties of cenizo, lots of different salvias, a couple of dozen small
flowering trees like anacacho orchid, kidneywood, choke cherry and Mexican buckeye.
There's also lots of miscellaneous one-offs that need homes and a handful of true
Trans-Pecos native from Patty's greenhouse.
If you missed that sale, want another of something or just want to see what's there,
come on down!

Austin: Austin Bonsai Show and Sale 2019 10 - 5 both days
The Austin Bonsai Society will hold its 48th annual show and sale at the AAGC building
of Zilker Botanical Garden. This is a free event.
In addition to the large exhibit of member's trees on display, we will have daily raffles,
a vendor area, and demonstrations at 2:00.
Members will be on hand to answer questions about Bonsai.

Dallas: White Rock East Garden Tour & Artisans & Plant Sale
The Plant Sale will be 9 - 3 at Casa Linda Park, 9302 Alta Mira Dr.
Plants will include but not limited to, grasses, sedges, hostas, columbine, lantanas, turks cap, coreopsis, rosemary, salvias, sedums and many more perennial varieties for sun and shade gardens. Neighborhood gardeners will be contributing their favorite plants, shrubs, ground covers, herbs and perennials. You'll find Japanese Maples, in both red and green leaved varieties, and a few larger specimen trees as well. Plus there will be dwarf Deodora Cedars, purple Smoke Trees, rose of Sharons, Serpentine Blue Atlas Cedars, unusual evergreen shrubs from variegated boxwood to plum yews to English laurels and some rare trees such as Twisty Baby Locust, Summer Chocolate Mimosa, fruiting Japanese Persimmon, dwarf Gingko trees and weeping red buds. We will also be offering a collection of indoor plants for your home.
The Tour Hours are from 10 - 5 and will take place in the following neighborhoods:
Casa Linda Estates, Forest Hills and Little Forest Hills.

2019 Tour tickets are not yet available. Discounted Pre-tour tickets go on sale May 1st.
