This is one of the first flowers I planted in my garden at my new house probably 20 years ago! I have divided it many times over the years and it continues to bless me beautiful with beautiful blooms Smiling

Welcome! Tracy!

Leslie speaks truth. I'm fairly new here and by the end of last year (I joined in August of 2018) and ended up with somewhere around 80+ irises gifted by the amazing members here. They enable you. If you stay, you WILL end up with more irises.. Whistling

Thank you all for the warm welcome! It is much needed today after 6 inches of snow dropped overnight and still going... Sighing!

I am keeping myself busy planning my garden and ignoring the fact that I have a ton of shoveling to do! Whistling

@lakecountrygirl Hi Tracy. Glad you joined up! & I had in my mind, that it was going to be a matter of questioning .. What was your first Iris ? I think it definitely wasn't what I had purchased it as, but I am fairly certain, when it flowered, I figured it may have been named 'Stepping Out'.

Welcome from a fellow WI resident! Shoveling was definitely no fun Tuesday, but luckily I got a big assist from a friendly neighbor with a snowblower who did a nice portion of our sidewalk. Welcome!

As a fellow northerner, you'll find that this site is good for what ails us. It alleviates cabin fever, seasonal affective disorder and subzero rage. Hope springs eternal. Big Grin
