Greetings and welcome to the thread specifically for random photos of Other People's Livestock, because I need one Rolling on the floor laughing and, this being the sandbox, also included are Odd Portraits of Life, because that pretty much includes other random photos that might be homeless elsewhere on this site.

As some of you know, I have a fondness for critters and I've recently been attempting to photograph birds
The thread "Bird Photos and Chat 2019" in Gardening for Butterflies, Birds and Bees forum
They are not nearly as easy to find, nor as cooperative as other people's livestock, so, I have, camera in hand, naturally taken photos of critters right there in front of me for the taking, generally after the bird flies away. Can't help it.

That was mama Yak, to start the thread. Taken last spring. Here's baby Yak Lovey dubby

Beautiful pictures of beautiful animals! Thumbs up I've always been fascinated by appaloosas. When I was little I called them "Dalmatian horses"! Hilarious! Here are some highland cattle down the road from us...

Yak muzzles!!!! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Those have to be some of the prettiest muzzles in the animal kingdom.
Leopard appies! I learned something new today. I knew of apps but not leopard ones.

Karen those are some BIG cows!
Y'all, we don't really have big cows here in FL. Not like I see pictures of from other people across the country. I think 1 of yours would make 2 of ours. Mostly here are black Angus & there used to be a lot of brahman. Brahman can get pretty big but I don't hardly ever see them here anymore.

Highland cattle! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! I love the shaggy cows.

Asa, that cow has a beautiful eye. Is that eye not a thing of beauty?

That is such a beautiful picture, Dirt! It's so amazing to me how animals can tolerate the cold weather like that! They look cold!

Livestock all around me but we only have chickens... do they count? Lovey dubby

We didn't have much snow this year but we did back in 2012! Poor things were not interested in free roaming this day!

Dirt and I often have the same/similar shots. I generally don't post what she does (and reciprocated), but this horse pic was too interesting to me. Really a different photo - lots to do with the lens and camera settings. Just such a different interpretation of the same thing.

Well, this should be a fun thread to watch. I only check in on the Sandbox occasionally, so if I post this I'll be notified of a new posting Big Grin She's all grown up now with a baby of her own.
