Good article. I myself do not feed house plants much at all, especially in the winter. Humidity is indeed important for tropical plants. Almost everyone over estimates how much light they naturally get. Adding LED 6500K lights on a timer can make all the difference in the world. I have plants that do better inside during the winter than they do outside in the summer. Gene
