Can someone tell me what plant this is? It is appearing all over my gardens. Thank you!

Looks like Crainsbill Geranium to me. Pretty summer blooms. Highly invaisive. If you pull them out, get all roots. Will regenerate from the smallest root left behind.
I have a 'seek & destroy' routine, because they are too invaisive for my cottage garden.

Thank you all so much!

I bought my house last fall from a lady who appears to have spent hours everyday outside. Almost the entire yard is garden and my husband an I are kind of overwhelmed with trying to figure out what all the plants are and how best to take care of them. Our neighbors told us she planted all native plants and from what we have observed plants are staggered for the different seasons so sometimes it is hard to tell if we should wait to see if it flowers or pull it out. It is good to know this plant is invasive before it spreads any further into the flower beds. Thank you again!

Welcome Jessica! You & your husband have acquired a treasure. As with meeting new people, it takes time to become familiar and remember names & traits. It will be the same in your garden.
Gardeners abound at this website, always ready to help.
Looking forward to hearing how you are getting along.

There are a number of ornamental perennial types too...
The native type that grows natural in this area has very specific needs...

Best to make sure which you have....

But... all over the gardens... does sound like carolina geranium... not invasive, but an aggressive cold season annual.
