How is your watering frequency with it? It likes lots of water when conditions are getting warmer and daylight hours getting much longer now.

Who is 'they'? What fertilizer did you use and how much did you use? Did you use Weed and Feed on your lawn?

Citrus trees need citrus specific fertilizer. 10-10-10 is not going to do it but you can't add more fertilizer for another 3 months or so.

Yes, keep it watered.

I must be missing something major. Where are these trees? How big are they and where and how are they planted. You do not water them everyday and you do not fertilize with each watering. In Arizona we fertilize with slow release citrus fertilizer three times a year on Valentine's Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Please show me some pictures.
One has to do more than just read. They have to investigate and think for themselves.

Stop fertilizing - 5 cups of anything was way too much.

Watering every day is probably excessive. Are you letting the water soak in until it puddles? Or just sprinkling the surface.

You photos seem to show a young tree so the first thing I recommend is patience. A young tree is not going to produce two bushels of oranges in its first few years.
Second, they need a good deal of sunshine. You appear to have that!
Thirdly, these guys need to be watered thoroughly and deeply. If you water it often but shallowly, that is detrimental to its health. Deeper watering means a deeper and healthy root system. I would advise paying more attention to that aspect.
Lastly, you are fertilizing way too much. Overfeeding adds stress to the plant! Not good growth! It does not make a tree get healthier. I over fertilized myself on pasta and Italian food and I stressed myself by getting FAT!! Too much fertilizer/food did not make me healthier. The cupfulls that you are applying is for a mature citrus tree, not one the size of yours.
And you need to apply a citrus fertilizer and NOT 10-10-10!!! Something like 8-3-13 would be better. And something water soluble. I would put a cup of fertilizer into a 5 gallon pail, fill with water, and let it slowly soak into a pre-moistened root zone. 3 or 4 times a year is more then enough.

Also, just because some body sells a citrus tree doesn't mean that they know how to grow a citrus tree!! In this age of the internet, these plants can be easily researched. And realize that not everything found on the internet is 100% accurate. But keep reading and it is a good way to start.

I will take more pictures tomorrow.
The tree is around 5 feet tall. It's been 2 years in the ground. And I bought it already in a 25gallon container.
The lady from the trees told me 1cup per foot since the trunk is like 3 inches in diameter.
I deep water it until there is a nice puddle.
2 years I have not fertelize the tree.. now I do fertelize it and I'm doing it wrong. I trusted the lady since she sells a lot of fruit trees.
I'm in south Florida so yes the tree gets full sun. No shade.
Also what can I use for leave burn? Neem oil solution??

If the lady knew about citrus trees, she would have told you to use Citrus fertilizer as citrus trees have very special needs.

If you are watering the tree daily and watering until the water puddles, you are watering too much. Depending upon your soil, you may need to water only once a week.

Neem will not fix burned leaves. I think the leaves are burned because you over-fertilized. You over-fertilized because you got poor advice.

The tree roots are probably a couple feet beyond your brick circle. If you also fertilize your lawn, you are fertilizing double. Trees don't do well in lawns because lawns need a lot of fertilizer and water and trees do not.

Trees grow very slowly so need less fertilizer than other plants. Under-fertilizing is always preferable to over-fertilizing. Trees (and all plants) don't really need as much fertilizer as the people who sell fertilizer would like you to believe. If I were you, I wouldn't fertilize this tree until next year about this time, then I would use citrus food sparingly.

Hello
Ok. No I use no lawn fertilizer.
So by watering it more it wont wash away the fertilizer?
I have just sand soil since I'm in south florida.
I guess I ruined a few of my trees.. my avocado looks very burned.. I'm so mad that I listen to that lady.

Sounds to me like that was WAY too much fertilizer. Also, I would not water it every day until it puddles. I think both of those probably stressed the tree. Maybe a deep watering only once a week - I like to turn the hose down to a drip or trickle at most, then lay it next to the trunk and let it slowly soak the ground. And no more fertilizer for a while - maybe next fall. Also, maybe in the fall or even mid-summer, you could apply a layer of compost - that would be gentle and would probably add some micro-nutrients that were not in that fertilizer. The avocado tree might appreciate the same treatment. And don't beat yourself up for listening to the lady, just listen to what your trees are telling you (as you obviously are already doing) and move forward. Group hug

I agree with everything Christie says.

Another thought: South Florida has sandy alkaline soil. Both citrus and avocado trees like slightly acidic soil making it doubly important you use the proper fertilizer. If the soil is too alkaline, the tree can't use the nutrients you have added. Maybe you should get a cheap pH testing kit and find out what the pH of the soil around your trees really is. It should be between 6 and 6.5.
