I received a request in email today (not treemail) because somebody knew my name and that I lived in CA, and they were hoping that I was the person who posted an image of 'Got the Look' in Dave's Garden. (The image was attributed to another Marilyn in CA.)

He coulda had mine, I got rid of it. Blooms were misshaped a lot, and poorly placed on the stalks. Hope that's only a local thing.

Just checking in today. I saw this. I unfortunately had to leave all my irises at the house we sold due to all the events that happened around that time. So I no longer have Got The Look or any of the others. I guess I should go in and delete my list.

I see you are up in the Sierra - I envy you! Hopefully you can grow at least a few irises in the future. I grow most of mine in pots (we have gophers galore too), and while they are not spectacular (as in iris nursery spectacular), with a large enough pot you can get a nice display. Something for you to consider!
