I got the glass rocks at Dollar Tree for 1 dollar a bag. The curved glass ornament was more expensive. I would like to buy more of those to go around my plants in various shapes, sizes and shades of blue and green. Does anyone know of an economical source of curvy glass pieces? I really like the way these look together. I was inspired by this Glass Garden someone posted on Facebook.

That looks nice with glass beads!! I have pebbled rock on some of my planters to keep the soil from flying away with our crazy winds. May have to try this. Thanks for sharing!!!

I've never seen a glass piece like your curvy one, but I sure like it!

It's a very unusual glass work and probably rare. I don't know of an economical source for curvy glass pieces. You can try contacting an art school with glass blowing class to see if it has old inventory to give away.

Another WOW moment from Clint. I love the way the semps seem to be floating on a beautiful blue pond/lake. The tall curly glass piece works so well to draw the eye to the container. Lovey dubby

The glass swirl is probably Murano glass and yes is expensive. I have one that I purchased at an auction. Overstock carries them for about $65. Might want to consider having this inside.

I would try Ebay.com. Search for "glass art" and you will see hundreds of items in all price ranges. Alot of interesting items hand-made by hobbyists.

LOL! One thing most glass artists hate is being called a hobbyist!
I know this because I have been a glass artist since 1986.

If your winters are extreme, think twice about putting random glass items into your garden.

I have never left my glass art out for winter. It just isn't worth the risk, IMHO.

ebay glass items are usually offerings from "newbie" glass crafters. Most likely not annealed properly.
Yes, I'm an art glass snob. Sorry. It took a lot of years and a very expensive education to get where I am today.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort!

Very nice Jo Ann. I love the soft look of the beach glass.
