Around 1:30 pm today my mentor and our dear friend Mrs. Terah George passed away.

We met just two short years ago, early in my daylily habit. I made the statement that i would work for daylilys and it was on . We pulled weeds and dug daylilys. Roger got the bug too. We took in all the info we could

Sorry for your loss. Friends and mentors are sometimes hard to come by and you found both in one person. I'm sure it gave her great joy to pass on her knowledge. As you continue her love of daylilies, may it give you comfort.

I'm heartbroken at losing Terah. A photo of the last time I saw her. Sandy Holmes dubbed us the "Webster girls" because we all worked with the Webster daylilies. Terah left us way too soon.

Just a couple days ago I mentioned that I had acquired Lillian's Terah George from Fred Manning but didn't realize the connection. Judy the picture is wonderful and I know you all will treasure your memories.

What sad news! The Daylily community is worse off in her absence.

Does she have a username? That's the only way we have of adding to the memory garden.

So sorry to hear of Terah's passing! She sounded like a truly delightful person with a gift for hybridizing. I was looking at those daylilies that she named and registered and was VERY IMPRESSED!!! May she light up Heaven with her smile and blooms!
